OUR STORY & the 2021 Matching Campaign

Our story started in 2006 with an event called Nite of Hope. Through 7 years of galas the Nite of Hope backed by the White Rock/ South Surrey community raised $1.4 million dollars for Breast Cancer Research.

In 2015 after a 2 year hiatus and a shuffle, The Holiday Home Tour was born. We expanded our giving at the Surrey Memorial Hospital Foundation with funds directed to the Breast Health Clinic, The Children's Health Centre and we partnered with The Peace Arch Hospice Society.

2020 brought a curveball we had never seen before and the event pivoted from in person, to print with the "2020 Holiday Home Tour Magazine." We were overwhelmed by the support and encouragement and in the last 6 years managed to help raise $445,000 for a historic total of $1,845,000

2021 proved even more challenging with supply and staff shortages and increased setbacks. We have always been a volunteer driven, community powered event and with the committee's personal commitments on top of other obstacles we were unable to carry on as planned this year.

However, from Dec 1, 2021-Dec 31, 2021 we will be encouraging donations on behalf of the Holiday Home Tour to capitalize on the matching campaign at Surrey Memorial Hospital. Jim Pattison is graciously doubling all donations until Dec 31, 2021. The Hospitals goal is $4 million which would be matched by Jim Pattison in the hopes to achieve $8 million total.

The Holiday Home Tour is small but mighty. We are asking you to join us as we dig a bit deeper and give even a little, because we have proven in the past that together we can achieve a lot.
